Repairing?

When you need/want to repair something, what do you do?

What sorts of things do you know how to just repair yourself? (Bike puncture? Loose towel rail? Broken vacuum cleaner? Torn favourite item of clothing?)

How often do you decide a repair is not even worth considering?

How often do you try and find a repair solution? When you do, how often is it a simple solution (perhaps a good warranty service? reliable electrician? or nearby specialist?)
