This, ladies and gentlemen, this is a self-portrait of one of Endzone Software’s very own senior developers… Ondřej Piálek.

Meet Simone Gribble (no, she's not a fictional cartoon… this is her self-portrait! You'll see the real Simone below).

Simone is in charge of finances and general admin duties here at Endzone Software. She’s great at crunching our numbers but that doesn’t mean she’s all work and no play.

It’s been awhile since the remote team at Endzone.io have got together IRL / AFK (in real life / away from keyboard…in person) so I think everyone was excited about the prospect of three whole weeks in a Coworking, Co-living environment. Right?

We decided on Bansko, a small mountain town in Bulgaria for our meet up. This was largely driven by the existence of Coworking Bansko, a great working space with a community feel.

We hacked Bansko.

Okay, not really. Every meetup we set aside a weekend for a company hackathon. What we hack depends on what we’re interested in at the time. Whatever we choose, we work hard, eat lots, have fun and achieve stuff. Simone makes pancakes.

Post hackathon (and the fact that it was Christie’s first weekend in Bansko) called for some tourist action. Maybe even something Bulgarian. You need some background.

This is Irina. She runs Coworking Bansko and she’s awesome. She adopted us during our meetup and now she’s our new best friend forever. 

We are a remote company. We use contractors based in places all over the world, for development, design and things we can’t handle ourselves. Paying contractors through regular international banking transfers is expensive so we’ve found some alternatives.
