That “HappyPorch exists for us” is one of our values we tend to follow and live.

The happiness and satisfaction of the Team and our engagement is very important to us. To measure this we started a survey.

After a year of planning and living the actions we finally transformed from Endzone.io Ltd to HappyPorch. This better reflects our current identity and where we want to go in the future. We changed the company name,logo and launched this new website.

This is my third Plastic Free July. It might be the types of places where I shop but I noticed that this year, the idea of going plastic free for July seems more widespread (no hard data, just a feeling). More and more I see takeaway places and festivals using Vegware or other compostable packaging.

Joining "1% for the Planet" is, in my opinion, the most significant action we’ve taken in 2019 towards ‘walking the talk’. 

The team talks that took place at our Porto Meetup confirmed that my idea to join the global donation scheme was the right one for the team, both individually and as a wider company.

Being ethical and sustainable is important to us at HappyPorch. It’s been at the forefront of most big and strategic decisions but we’re not playing closer attention to our supplier list. Improving the quality of our supplier list is an ongoing and challenging task.

We get asked this question a surprising amount, or at least it’s surprising to me.  We love our quirky name and enjoy numerous word plays for a number of our internal projects. Yet, it is still a little surprising and gratifying when others are intrigued by the name itself.

In general, we have been paying our staff more than the UK Living Wage for awhile now but we think it’s important to shout about our achievements while being open about where we want to improve.

From various parts of the world, the HappyPorch team disembarked at Geneva airport, Switzerland. The first 2019 company meetup was about to commence, and the excitement leaped to exceptional heights.

In most jobs you have to keep learning to stay relevant. And when you work a lot with digital technology like us, it is very important to keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technologies in order to provide the best possible solutions to our clients.
