Circular Wonderings is an exploration of the role of digital, software and technology in the Circular Economy. Exploration is the key word here. I write regularly, reflecting on my current thoughts and research. Expect typos, incomplete thoughts, varied rambling topics and (hopefully) a journey towards clearer understanding and insight. Category hypothesis: research into 3rd sector circularity (part 2)
Continuing the categorisation hypothesis, I'm keen to see if there is a simple way to identify organisations that fall into each category based on their websites.
It turns out that my little experiment of a using Google programmable search to try and search a large number of charity domains is not reliable enough.
Evidence for this comes from the fact that "Glasgow Wood Recycling" is not returned from my custom search for "circular economy". Yet, a search using the site filter does (ie ("circular economy" site:glasgowwoodrecycling.org.uk).
That is a shame, as it might have been a quick way to do this research - but onwards and upwards!
So, the next option to explore is searching each site in turn...
