Partnerships and Joint Ventures

Are you a purpose led organisation in need of software development expertise, but struggling to make the next step? Perhaps we can help?

We are looking for software projects with a focus on circular economy, climate change, zero waste and/or biodiversity loss. We can “invest” our skills, expertise and experience to get your product to the next level.

How does it work?

Essentially, we share the risk with you, together creating an impactful and successful product.

We carefully select organisations that have a technological need we can help with, enough evidence of impact and with whom we can build a trusted relationship. We expect you to be just as careful selecting who you work with. We then bring our skills, experience and hard work to your project. Normally over an extended period, to maximise the chances of success.

The result is that your up front development costs are vastly reduced and everyone is rewarded from future success of the product. The specific agreement is tailored to your situation. As an example: we might agree on a success metric below which you pay nothing and above which we receive a payment or a percentage of revenue.

Obviously the agreement must work for both parties. The key to success is very clear and well aligned goals, along with genuine transparency and trust.

Why do we offer this?

We are software engineers that believe technology is vital to tackling major issues such as climate change, global social inequality and biodiversity loss. Our small team is packed with software development skills and experience. We view our role as a catalyst for your solutions. Our impact comes from increasing and accelerating your positive impact. Usually, we achieve this by partnering with amazing organisations and being fairly remunerated for the value we provide.

However, we are very aware that the biggest barriers organisations face are sourcing and funding the expertise and technology innovations and hard work needed to open doors to drive further impact and increased income.

Occasionally, we are in the lucky position to be able to enter mutually beneficial joint ventures.

This type of partnership is therefore both an opportunity and a delight.

What next?

If you are interested - even if you are unsure or have questions - we'd love to hear from you.
