There have been 25 COPs to date, since the Rio summit in 1990.
After each one the global CO2 emissions have increased. Plotting each COP against the global CO2 emissions shows absolutely no significant change. 
I am not aware of any large country that has managed to meet the (inadequate) promises and commitments that our leaders have announced with great fanfare over the years.
What's the point in so much talk and so little action?
